Orange Blossom Single Flower Ring

Throughout history, Orange Blossom flowers have symbolized purity, innocence, chastity and fertility. In 1684, Louis XIV transferred from Fontainebleau to Versailles and, fond of their sweet scent and gorgeous white flowers, installed his Orangerie. He insisted that even in the middle of January baskets of orange blossoms perfume the rooms. Because they partly symbolize fertility, the flowers have been considered ideal adornments for brides.

The Orange Blossom Ring is cast in hand patinated bronze with yellow freshwater pearls and gold and silver plate.
