Berthe Morisot Ornament

Berthe Marie Pauline Morisot was a French painter and a member of the circle of painters in Paris who became known as the Impressionists. Morisot was married to Eugène Manet, the brother of her friend and colleague Édouard Manet. Correspondence between Morisot and Édouard Manet shows warm affection;  Morisot often posed for Manet.

This ornament of Berthe Morisot shows the painter with palette and brush in hand, wearing a mid- to late-19th century-inspired dress.

Ornaments of other subjects, artists, authors, and notable figures inspired by Isabella and the Museum also available.
