The Victorian Scrap Album

In this time of High Tech computer games for children it is a pleasure to come across a book that gives a simple alternative that both amuses and educates. Scrap Albums were very popular in the 19th century, many of the activities in them have been almost forgotten about, such as thumb prints and collecting skeleton leaves to name but two, which will help widen children's interest. This album was put together for the Pollock's Toy Museum in the late 1970s, the main change being the cover design.
