Chocolate Chip Shortbread Cookies

Since 1670, the recipe for shortbread, a famous pure butter biscuit, has been passed down from generation to generation in Sablé-sur-Sarthe. Ingredients: Wheat flour, fresh butter (milk) 18.9%, sugar, chocolate chips 10.6% (sugar, cocoa paste, cocoa butter, emulsifier: soylecithin), eggs, salt, skimmed milk powder, raising agent: sodium bicarbonate.
