The cherry tree is a delight in all seasons, but especially in summer when it’s hung with wonderful red fruits.
The design for the Morello Cherry Pendant was inspired by a panel decorated with cherries in the Green Dining Room at the Victoria and Albert Museum, designed by the firm Morris, Marshall, Faulkner and Co. in 1886. William Morris was a major influence on the Arts and Crafts Movement, which adopted many of his ideals on the value of hand craftsmanship and the maintenance of truth and honesty in the materials of production.
The Morello Cherry pendant is cast in bronze and accented with three hand-formed red glass beads on a brass chain.
