Invented in the 1840s, cyanotype uses a chemical photo agent mixture to transform watercolor paper into paper that's sensitive to UV light. When you place an object, photo, or drawing on the treated paper and expose it to sunlight, the result is a spectacular "blueprint"—your image preserved in white on a field of Prussian blue.
