Featuring a clear iridescent glass that shimmers with soft color and a metal filigree cross adornment, the Clear Vintage Double Hinged Lid Box adds color and light to your space while showcasing your favorite jewelry piece, trinket, or treasure. The box's polished clear beveled top reveals the iridescent glass bottom that shimmers and shines in the light to cast brilliant shapes and colors across surfaces. Two polished bevels are hinged to open in the center. The decorative beaded edging and chain supporting the hinged lid are composed of metal and lead-free solder antiqued with a charcoal patina. A special wax is applied to the metal, keeping it beautiful for years to come. Each glass box is carefully handcrafted by skilled artisans using a copper foil and solder technique developed by Louis Comfort Tiffany in the late 1800s.
