The Pearl & Red Crystal Drop Earrings are inspired by the pearl and ruby jewelry worn by Isabella Stewart Gardner in her portrait by John Singer Sargent, painted during a visit to Boston in January 1888. The majority of Isabella's pearls and rubies were purchased in Paris, France, from the jeweler Boucheron. These delicate and feminine drop earrings with a white pearl below a gold plate edged red crystal.
