Città di Kyoto Eau de Cologne: City of Kyoto Eau de Cologne

The Città di Kyoto Eau de Cologne was created by Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella in collaboration with perfumer Fabrizio Morgenni in 2005. The scent commemorates the 40th anniversary of the partnership between the cities of Kyoto and Florence. An elegant meeting of cultures, where the typically Tuscan notes of the iris flower, the emblem of Florence, blend harmoniously with the sweet and delicate nuances of the lotus flower, symbol of Japan.

The fragrance opens with a combination of the fresh notes of ylang-ylang, enriched by citrus hints of bergamot and orange. This combination leads to a floral heart where the Florentine iris intertwines with the exotic refinement of the lotus flower, creating an olfactory bouquet that brings East and West closer together.
