Throughout history, orange blossom flowers have symbolized purity, innocence, chastity and fertility. In 1684, Louis XIV moved his court from Fontainebleau to Versailles; during the move, the King--fond of their sweet scent and gorgeous white flowers-- installed his Orangerie. He insisted that even in the middle of January baskets of orange blossoms perfume the rooms of Versailles.
The Orange Blossom Post Earrings are made of a patinated bronze with white and yellow freshwater pearls on gold and silver plate.
Earrings measure 0.75 inches in length and 0.75 inches in width.
