Frederick Law Olmsted's Suggestions for the Improvement of Muddy River and for completing a continuous promenade from the Common to Jamaica Pond; 1880

Olmsted had a heavy hand is creating the beautiful parks in Boston. This set of six coasters shows Olmsted's design for a section of the Emerald Necklace. Isabella Stewart Gardner would go on to create her Museum in this new area of Boston called Fenway.
