Inspired by the Gardner Museum's annual Nasturtium Display, this Quilling Card features the blooms gently adorning the windows of Mrs. Gardner's Fenway Palace.
Each Quilling Card is handmade in Vietnam using tiny strips of paper that are quilled, or rolled, into a variety of shapes then attached to the card. The result is an impressively detailed work of art that can be framed and enjoyed all the time!
Isabella Stewart Gardner began the annual the tradition of hanging colorful displays of nasturtium vines that cascaded from the Courtyard balconies at Fenway. The vines continue to come alive in the present during the week before Easter as the Gardner Museum celebrates the arrival of spring.
