Of heirloom quality, the Black Velvet Minaudière is handmade by master artisans in the zardozi tradition. The world 'zardozi' translates to "gold thread." The centuries-old technique of zardozi is an elaborate and intricate multidimensional embroidery style featuring metallic threads and semi-precious stones.
