Apothecary

While wandering through the Museum, one notes that Isabella Stewart Gardner curated more than paintings from the Great Masters; her collection also includes countless objets de arte.

We begin our aesthetic adventure in the Museum's Little Salon where one marvels over luxurious, detailed perfume bottles from all over the Europe. Across from the Little Salon on the Museum's second floor, the Dutch Room holds a silver Soap Box designed by Christian Eriksson, given to Mrs. Gardner by her dear friend and artist Anders Zorn. Throughout the Museum, one encounters incense burners from 19th century China, Japan, and Korea and intricate candle holders from all around the world.

Gift at the Gardner's Apothecary Collection marries Gardner's love of objets de art with fragrant floral scents inspired by the flora of Gardner's gardens. Delight the senses by exploring our Apothecary selection! To learn more about Gift's Italy-based luxury apothecary, meet the makers of Santa Maria Novella!
