Benjamin Franklin Ornament

The Museum's Blue Room contains a copy of The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin from 1900. The book is an unfinished record of the Franklin's life from 1771 to 1790. Upstairs, the Museum's Short Gallery holds a mezzotint of Benjamin Franklin from the late 18th century, while the Long Gallery's Presidents and Statesmen Case holds a letter to William Strahan written by Benjamin Franklin

This ornament of Benjamin Franklin features the statesman and inventor with his famous kite, which he used to make a lightening rod, dressed in his finery.
