This water-based adhesive is designed specifically for gilding gold and silver leaf. The adhesive has a blue tint so that you can easily see where it has been applied. The adhesive turns clear as it dries. After the adhesive is completely clear, you are ready to gild (approximately 15 minutes after application). The gilding adhesive can be applied to various surfaces including metal, ceramics, wood, and glass.
